Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, New Chandigarh, Punjab A unit of Tata Memorial Centre Department of Atomic Energy Government of India invites applications for the post of Scientific Assistant B biochemistry on Adhoc basis.

Qualification and experience:

B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology with 50% marks with 2 years experience in medical laboratory

or

BSc in Biochemistry/Chemistry/Botany/ZoologyLife sciences/Biotechnology which 50% marks and DMLT (Diploma in medical lab technology) from Government recognised Institute with 1 year experience in medical laboratory.

candidate familiar with biochemistry auto analyzers, Serum Protein electrophoresis & immunofixation techniques will be given preference.

General Conditions

  • Experience Record: The experience of candidates will be considered as of the date of the walk-in interview.
  • Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST, and OBC as per the Government of India’s instructions.
  • Document Submission: Candidates must submit photocopies of the following documents at the time of the interview:
    1. Copy of Resume
    2. Proof of Date of Birth: Birth certificate, school leaving certificate, or SSC passing certificate.
    3. Educational Qualifications: Marksheet and passing certificate for final examinations.
    4. Experience Certificates:
      • Past employment experience certificates indicating the date of joining and relieving.
      • Current employment details including the appointment letter, last payslip, and identity card.
    5. Identity Proof: Copy of PAN card and Aadhar card.
  • Tenure of the Post: The above posts are for a tenure of one year from the date of appointment or until the finalization of the permanent post, whichever is earlier.
  • Selection Process: In case of a large number of candidates, an MCQ test will be conducted. Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on the test results, at the discretion of the competent authority.
